Growing With Community

Golden Hills Sanitation Company (GHSC) is a wastewater treatment plant serving a small but growing number of customers within a portion of Golden Hills, Tehachapi, California. GHSC's system was first created to assist the growth of the 'Golden Highlands' neighborhood. GHSC was formed as a private California corporation to provide wastewater collection and treatment services to Golden Hills Community on September 8, 1980.

An Agreement to construct the Golden Hills Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) and collection system was executed by GHCSD, GHSC, adjoining landowners, Golden Hills Country Club, County Club Estates, Golden Hills Land Company, and Golden Highlands Manufactured Home Estates on March 22, 1983.

A map of the GHSC system is attached below. Currently GHSC serves approximately 210 customers.
Developers and Property Owners wishing to inquire about connecting to GHSC sewer should first call our Billing Office at (661) 822-1700 to determine connection feasability. If your property is able to connect, the current connection fee is $3600 dollars.

Please note:
